I stumbled across Brain Ferry a while back through his beautiful and personal blog – The Blue Hour – which I’ve been following for some time. Ferry is a wonderful film photographer residing in London, his analogue photographs are moody, peaceful and evocative and give a sense of calm. His concepts spur from his natural environment, detailing bits and bobs of his life, weaving together the small moments that many of us overlook in a story-fold way.

I particularly love his series “Cliff Edge”, “Notes on Italy”, “Home”, and “To the Sea” which you can view on his website. Here are some of my favorites from “In Search of a Theme”.
