Daily Wisdom from the Dalai Lama

Before you read another wise wisdom from His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, it would only be appropriate for me to introduce to you our new Hi.Lite.Head author, the highly anticipated Lama Titem, or as he will post here by the name ‘lamatem’. I am so honored that he accepted my invite to become an author on our blog. He is an amazing enlightened individual, and a lama my family, I, and many others throughout the world perceive as a venerated spiritual teacher. For the duration of his time here, Lama Titem will be leading our ‘Spiritual‘ category, writing both in English and Mongolian, while also sharing his life and thoughts with us under ‘Reflections‘. I look forward to gaining spiritual attainment from Lama Titem’s upcoming thought-provoking lessons, and I hope you will also gain as much out of the experience as I. Welcome to Hi.Lite.Head!

(You can read more about Lala Titem under the ‘About’ page – to be posted soon.)

Daily wisdom from the Dalai Lama:

“In our daily lives we are now utilizing many good facilities, including things like air-conditioned houses. All these things or facilities became possible, not because of ourselves, but because of many other people’s direct or indirect involvement. Everything comes together. It is impossible to return to the way of life of a few centuries ago, when we depended on simple instruments, not all these machines. It is very clear to us that the facilities that we are enjoying now are the products of the activities of many people.”
