a cactus is a great metaphor

what does it mean to wake up in fear with tears in your eyes?
crying or shouting words in your dream?
does it really signify a new beginning and not something far sinister?
ive dreamt today that slowly losing my eyesight is nothing but a reminder of my own mortality
carpe diem

a cigarette is a substitute for your mothers nipples
I can feel my optimism drifting away
harvey lost a testicle but gained a wife
everything is categorized into disorders diagnosis and prescriptions in America, why is that so?

I wanted to escape but I couldn’t
there was a giant beast sniffing atop my head trying to eat me
we laid on the ground under piles of clothes as black saliva dripped on us
I saw my deceased grandmother, she had white hair

I am a sampler of energy and curious lifestyles
I always want to be someone Im not
my own creation plagues me

  1. Very powerful verse and mental images. I’d have to say I’ve been plagued by my own creation on more than a few occasions… : )

elaborate?
