Deprived of travel in 2020, I visited San Diego for a week in November during Covid right before California went under purple tier quarantine. Unfortunately I could not art hop this time around. Due to Covid, all SD art museums and galleries were closed. I ended up spending my entire trip with nature and sightseeing, going to a different beach each day. Best highlights of the trip was visiting La Jolla Park and kayaking in the coves, Coronado Island, Balboa Park (at night its a whole different neon disco universe), Cabrillo National Monument (best views), and the Barrio Logan Chicano murals. The art industry has been vastly affected with the impact of the pandemic, I often wonder how the industry will pivot post Covid. There remains an infinite amount of places to visit in the world to art hop. Cant wait to start traveling again without restrictions in a post Covid world.
