Overall business card dimensions used: 3.5″ x 2″

Mediums used: graphic pen, gel pen, masking tape, collage, blood, mechanical pencil, alteration of original surface by ways of cutting, obliteration, subtraction and addition.

Descriptors without a place – place which dis(places) all things in it. Victory of fragility. Together is only the together of some vanishing marks. Together is enough. The intensity of persuaded projections.

Forming parenthesis to infinitesimal brevities, the 1001 Cards – A Drawing Project is an ephemeral symptom archive of a life accumulated by grids. These are my personal visual philosophies based on a repository of inner private observations created on collected business cards from all my travels and encounters over the years. Text regurgitated as morphological excess to inspire and or alleviate thinking prolongs; thereby welcoming the absurdities that lie therein and other lighthearted attempts to make sense of the world.
