“Folding is at the core of all universe” – I recently watched Between the Folds (directed by Vanessa Gould), a docu film about the art and science of origami told through the lives of artists and scientists who create amazing interpretations through the metaphoric art form of paper, but even more interesting are the questions they arise regarding form, expression, creativity and the meaning of art. Naturally, I was really inspired by origami after viewing the film, especially with the more obscure forms, so I thought I’d pair up actress Tilda Swinton, (who graced the cover of Another Magazine wearing dresses made by an all British designer cast), with a few of origami’s latest contenders.
