Masha Krasnova-Shabaeva was born in Ufa, Russia, but currently works and lives in The Netherlands. I was instantly sucked into her very clean-cut style and dreamlike universe. While her charming illustrations have something of a poetic, romantic quality, it is her strong and quirky imagination and her powerfully intriguing subject matter that make her work unique and distinctive. Masha works in both commercial and fine art realms, mixing a bit of phantasmal scenery and complexity to otherwise normal editorial situations. Check our more of her amazing works here.
