An obsessive doodler with a skilled hand, Lauren Nassef, is committed to her “Drawing A Day” project. She has an inquisitive observational approach to her drawings, balancing the more loosely stylized lines with her academic eye. Compositionally cunning and simple, her illustrations are rendered with just the right amount of breathing space for us to occupy, linger and crave for more like the pink storefront cupcakes with fresh whip cream.
